Organisation Background
Sheila Child Support Africa is a development focused initiative with its activities inclined to support the needy children enhancement in their basic needs, social welfare and livelihood capacity respectively, capacity building, but also promoting a free environment that enhances decision making particularly for the care givers in order to empower them be able to care for their own children but also child protection to the needy children identified in the community. The organization was started in 2023 by the three individuals team who identified and felt its need after being faced with a big challenge of absolute marginalization in various appalling situations of the children who suffer malnutrition, luck of basics like good shelter, poor feeding, poor health care, inadequate clothings, and beddings, luck of parental care especially and specifically the orphans, not leaving the other categories of the needy children.

Activities
- Soliciting resources to cater for children care facilitation by providing their basic needs and education materials like.
- Scholastics, health, nutritional materials, clothings and all kind of support to the children’s welfare.
- To support some caregivers with live hood enhancement kits.
- Capacity building via apprenticeship skills to the caregivers.
- Develop and improve the children’s home facility with all the necessary facilities and equipments to enable the children’s conducive environment for growth.
- Initiate capacity building plans and activities for the children and caregivers.
- Counseling and guidance.
- Career guidance initiatives for the children and young caregivers.
Target Group
The primary target of the organisation is orphans, people with disabilities, widows, youths, single parents and the old. The target group is important and essential component of this Organization, it’s expected that significant changes, learning and development will take place for our target group and have access to basic needs education, health care, protection and a sense of belonging to the society.
